Mall of America, take two!!
I'm happy to report that today I fulfilled the unfinished goal left dangling from my Solstice Adventure this year. I walked from my home in South Minneapolis all the way to the Mall of America in Bloomington! I did not make the mistake of trying to skirt the airport to the east this time, which made the trip fairly easy. It was overcast most of the day, but never quite rained. In all, I walked nine miles (a far cry from twenty-something on the solstice), stopped at a supermarket, took several rest breaks, and arrived after four and a half hours. Finding that the theater was closed for renovations, I browsed Games by James, watched car races at Legoland, and bought some shirts at Ragstock, instead.
